Theme Installation

Install WordPress

Before installing Dentora you have to install wordpress. You can install it yourself or use any web host that installs wordpress for you. To know more visit WordPress.org

Download and Unzip the theme after purchase

1. After purchasing the theme, you will recive an email with download link. Open this link and use the Download button at the middle of the page to download your template package.

2. You will need to extract/unzip the package to start working with files. You will find dentora.zip, dentora-child.zip, Documentation and Extras files.

Install Dentora

1. First, go to Appearance > Themes and click Add New to add Dentora Theme.

2. Next, click Upload Theme to upload the theme file you have purchased.

3. Now, click Choose File and select the dentora.zip file from your pc to upload it.

4. Next, click Install Now to start the installation process.

5. Finally, when the dentora.zip file is uploaded and installed completely you will see “Theme installed successfully” message. But you should not activate this one. Hence, we suggest you to install and activate the Dentora child theme we provided for your convenience.

Install Child Theme

1. Again, to install Dentora child theme click Add New.

2. Now click Upload Theme to upload Dentora child theme this time.

3. Click, Choose File and select dentora-child.zip to upload it.

4. Hit the Install Now button to begin Dentora child theme installation.

5. Finally, you will get a confirmation that the child theme installed successfully. Now click on "Activate" to activate the child theme.

Demo Import

Install Plugins

1. Go to Plugins, click Begin Installing Plugins.

2. Check all plugins. Then select Install in the Bulk Actions dropdown and click Apply.

3. And finally, you will see the confirmation that all plugins are installed and activated successfully. Click Return to the Dashboard link right side of the conformation message shown.

4. Check all plugins. Then choose Activate in the Bulk Actions dropdown & hit Apply buttton.

Server Settings

Most of the time demo import fails because of server settings. Please make sure your server settings have minimum these values:

  • upload_max_filesize: 256M
  • max_input_time: 600
  • memory_limit: 256M
  • max_execution_time: 600
  • post_max_size: 512M

You can contact your hosting provider to make the changes for you. Try importing the demo again when ready.

Import Demo Data

To setup Dentora same as the live demo, follow the steps:

1.First, go to Appearance > Import Demo Data and click Import Demo Data.

2. Click Import Demo Data button.

Now Click On Continue & Import button to start importation of the demo website.

3. Please wait until the demo data is imported properly because it may take a while.

4. And finally when demo data import is Import Complete you will see a confirmation message.

Theme Setup

Homepage Setup

Go to Settings > Reading and navigate to Homepage Settings,  select A static page then set your Homepage and Post page and hit Save.

How to set Google Map API

Go to Elementor > Element Pack Settings > API Settings and you will find Google Map API Key field. You have to put your API key there.

If you don’t have an API key, you can generate the API key.

Update Site Address (URL)

Go to Elementor Tools and choose Replace URL

For Updating Site URL, put old url (http://dentora.iamabdus.com/v1.3/) and new url (Which is Your Wordpress URL). Then hit the Replace URL button.

Delete Default Post

Go to Post. Now You Can See The Default Post Name "Hello World".

Now You Can See The Uncheaked Button, Make Cheaked by Click The Uncheaked Button & Select Move to Trash. Now Click Apply Button.

Customization

How to Change Logo

1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Logo

2. Click Change logo and hit Publish.

How to Change Site Title

Now, type in your site’s title in the Site Title input. You can also type in a Tagline below to set your site’s tagline.

How to Change Site Icon (Favicon)

Now, Click Change image and upload the image you want to use as your site icon. We suggest to use an image that has a dimension of 512 by 512 pixels.

How to Change Preloader Image

1. Go to Appearance > Preloader Options

2. Now Click Change image and upload the image you want to use as your as preloader.

3. Now choose the Preloader image size and background colorThen hit Publish.

4. By  Defalut Preloader is Active. But if you want to deactive, Uncheck the Enable Preloader.

How to Change Header

1. Go to Appearance >  Customizer > Header Template

2. Use Header dropdown menu to select header and hit Publish. If you want to create a new header follow How to Create New Header section below

How to Create New Header

1. Go to Templates > Add New and it opens a popup.

2. Here you select Section and type template name now hit CREATE TEMPLATE button.

3. Create an Elementor section for header. Drag Brand Logo widget to the left column to make a logo

4. You can now customize its property like width, height etc.

5. Drag Navbar widget to the right column to make menu

6. Use Select Menu dropdown to select a menu created before. and Now you can customize menu property like fonts, color, padding, margin etc. You may need to set z-index property to see the header properly.

7. Now go to Customizer > Header and select your header from the header dropdown menu & hit Publish.

How to Create New Footer

1. Go to Templates > Add New and it opens a popup.

2. Here you select Section and type template name now hit CREATE TEMPLATE button

3. Create an Elementor section for footer and add widget from left panel then customize it.

4. Now go to Customizer > Footer and select your footer from the footer dropdown menu & hit Publish

FAQ's

How to Install Required Plugins Mannually

Go to Plugins > Add New

Next, Click Upload Plugin

And Pick the Reqiured Plugin Zip File Form Extras Useful PLugins Folder Form Theme File.

Now, click Choose File

Next, clickInstall Nowto start the installation process.

Now, Install All Plugins One By One. Form The Folder.

How to Import Demo Data Mannually

Go to Appearance > Import Demo Data

Now, Click Switch to manual import!.

3. Now, Choose File form Extras Folder > demo Files

  • dentora-theme.xml
  • dentora-widgets.wie
  • dentora-export.dat

(note: see file extention & choose file carefully)

Please wait until the demo data is imported properly because it may take a while.

And finally when demo data importation is finished successfully, you will see a confirmation message.

How to Update Theme

Go to Appearance >Themes

Activate other theme like as Twenty Twenty One Theme But Not Dentora Theme

Click Theme Details

Delete Dentora Parent Theme. Do Not delete dentora-child Theme.

Next, Click Upload Theme to upload the latest version of the Theme file.

Now, click Choose File and Pick the dentora.zip file from your PC to upload it.

When the dentora.zip file is uploaded and installed completely you will see “Theme installed successfully” message. But you should not activate this one, because when dentora theme will be updated to a later version all modification you have made directly in the Dentora theme will be lost . Hence, we suggest you to install and activate the Dentora Child theme we provide for your convenience.

Finally, Click Activate Button to activate the Child theme.

How to change banner image of inner pages

1. First, go to home page and click Edit with Elementor.

2. Now click Edit Section element.

3. Then select Style Tab and Finally you can change this image.
